SAP ABAP Integration Specialist

Position Title: SAP ABAP BTP Technical Integration Specialist

Location: Wilmington, MA

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP BTP Technical Integration Specialist with extensive experience in SAP integration technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing integration solutions within SAP environments and related systems.

The role requires a deep understanding of BTP-based Integration Suite (CPI), interface handling, and system connectivity, focusing on SAP and non-SAP system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Integration Development:

• Design and implement interfaces using SAP Cloud Connector, BTP Integration Suite (CPI), and related technologies.
• Develop and manage ODATA, JSON, XML, Web Services, and Microservices for seamless system integration.

2. Technical Expertise:

• Utilize advanced ABAP and S/4 HANA technologies to develop and optimize

integration solutions.

• Handle messaging formatting, performance tuning, and implement robust exception handling processes.

3. Interface Design and Testing:

• Develop and test interfaces connecting SAP solutions (e.g., Ariba, SuccessFactors) and non-SAP systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and performance in all integration points.

4. Business Process Integration:

• Apply business knowledge in areas such as Purchasing (PR, PO), Goods

Movement, Inventory Management, Sales & Distribution, and Extended

Warehouse Management (EWM).

5. Fiori Development Support:

• Support Fiori projects related to ODATA services, role-based security, and catalog development (nice to have).

Skills & Experience:

• 10 years of experience in SAP technical integration roles.
• Proficient in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and Cloud Connector technologies.
• Strong expertise in ODATA, JSON, XML, Web Services, Java, SFTP, and Microservices patterns.
• Extensive experience in S/4 HANA ABAP development and integration.
• Familiarity with SAP modules like Ariba, SuccessFactors, and their interface testing requirements.
• Solid understanding of Purchasing, Inventory Management, Sales & Distribution, and EWM business processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Fiori ODATA services, security role design, and catalog development is an plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
