Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Payroll Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Verify discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly statements
- Maintain historical records by filing documents
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Possesses knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures in not-for-profit arenas, and accounting software and MS Office products.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with CYMA is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes is a plus
