Job Overview
Make a difference in the lives of kids with Blue Ribbon Book Fairs!We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks that ensure the efficient operation of our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with books and a strong understanding of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations. You will play a crucial role in order fulfillment, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage orders.
• Perform order picking and packing duties accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize equipment to move products safely within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with company owner to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist in inventory counts and restocking of supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse management or as an order picker is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
