Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., a leading distributor of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in Central and Southwest Virginia, is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate (Repack) in our Waynesboro VA division to help grow our business.
The Warehouse Associate (Repack) checks, cleans, and repacks product that is part of a broken case or damaged packaging.
Job Type: Full-Time
Monday-Friday, 7am until finished

Duties:
- Evaluate product for damage, discarding non-resalable and repack clean, good product into appropriate packaging, following all company policies and procedures.
- Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to move damaged and repacked product within inventory.
- Assist with driver check-in by moving damaged product and evaluating for potential repackaging.
- Manage repack bin assignments and ensure product quality by rotating code dates.
- Conduct inventory counts of repack area on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Adhere to strict safe working practices and company policies.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using a forklift, or electric pallet jack experience preferred.
The following list of physical requirements are required to perform the entire job: standing; walking; sitting; stooping; fine finger and hand manipulation; Ability to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more on a repetitive basis during a 10- to 15-hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and sitting. Ability to occasionally lift heavy items up to 135lbs.
