The Purpose
  The primary purpose of this position is to instruct courses in phlebotomy, healthcare billing and coding, medical assistant, dialysis technician, and/or psychiatric technician level 1. Courses may vary in length of time as defined by the course outline.Â

The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.Â

What You'll be Doing Â
- Teach courses as assigned, advise students concerning course requirements, maintain course records, and assist with course scheduling
- May assist in updating, maintaining, and distributing course outlines and materials for assigned courses.
- May assist in coordinating clinical sites and course offerings as required for assigned curriculum.
- May assist in reviewing textbooks and software
- Teaching the importance of patient confidentiality, keeping necessary records, and proper documentation of results.
- Ensure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies.Â
- Maintain the technical competencies necessary to the job function.
- Perform other duties as assigned Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. When applicable, must provide documentation of minimum education for professional certification or licensure requirements.Â
