What You'll be Doing
- Provides individualized or classroom digital and financial literacy instruction to learners
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in K-12, Adult Education, Special Education, High School Equivalency content area, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
All applicants must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a work-place setting or instructional/teaching environment. Minimum of three year successful teaching or equivalent experience. Must be proficient with technology and able to teach digital literacy skills. Must be able to teach basic to intermediate level math skills.
Skills and the Know-How
Knowledge of adult learning theory and multiple intelligence teaching strategies. Possess strong personal and professional integrity. Must have a commitment to safety. Have effective verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products.
Ability to effectively teach adult students at the basic and secondary levels. Ability to work independently and as part of an instructional team. Ability to relate to persons of diverse backgrounds and experience.

Physical Demands
The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.

- Engage learners through planned differentiated instruction
