What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Blue Ridge Crystal Technologies?
The production operator will be required to grind and/or polish crystalline material to the specifications provided by their supervisor while maintaining quality and keeping proper records. The operator could possibly be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine crystalline material
- Fill out work routers on a daily basis
- Communicate with managers, supervisors, and engineers to resolve machining or quality issues
- Explore opportunities to add value to the job
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have experience in production work / manufacturing environment
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and have a "can do" attitude
- Attendance is key to this position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
