Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, located in Saylorsburg, PA. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing mental health care services, including conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. The role includes ongoing individual medication management sessions, family education, supervision of nursing team, and crisis intervention to support the recovery of young women with eating disorders.
Qualifications
- Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care skills
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a mental health setting
- Strong background in Mental Health Care and Nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Experience with eating disorder treatment is a plus
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification in psychiatry and mental health
