What You'll Do:
The Employment Support Professional (ESP) is responsible for implementing the day to day functions of the IPS-Supported Employment Team. The ESP will work collaboratively with clients and employers to develop and provide employment opportunities, psychiatric rehabilitation and vocational education services. Responsibilities include:
Complete vocational assessments with clients to assess interests.
Provide job coaching at employment sites.
Assist clients in the creation of environmental support.
Teach clients necessary skills for attempting to secure and retain employment.
Coach clients around identifying strengths in relation to living, current skills, learning ability, work history, and social skills.
Schedule, coordinate, and obtain individualized employment opportunities with clients.
Assist with the job application process.
Help clients build interview skills.
Provide assistance and encouragement to Eligible Consumers to explore vocational goals, strengths, and problems.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with intellectually/developmentally disabled persons, mental health, substance abuse, or;
- a Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting and job placement, or;
- an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License required
