Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. This position is essential for supporting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during their stay or visit.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Provide support during medical procedures and examinations under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Support specialized departments such as Medical-surgical, Emergency medicine, PICU, Geriatrics, and Hospital medicine as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with patient care practices in various environments such as clinics, hospitals, or Level I Trauma Centers is advantageous.
- Understanding of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while providing compassionate care to patients across diverse populations.

Pay: $21.63 - $23.17 per hour
