TEAM LEAD, INFRASTRUCTURE AND CYBERSECURITY – Position Summary
The Team Lead, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, oversees the organization's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring IT systems' security and efficiency and implementing best practices for infrastructure and cybersecurity. The Team Lead works closely with various departments to support the organization's goals and objectives.
TEAM LEAD, INFRASTRUCTURE AND CYBERSECURITY – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and data centers.
- Lead and complete the migrations from on-prem data centers to Microsoft Cloud systems.
- Implement and manage systems monitoring tools to ensure IT systems' availability, performance, and security.
- Develop and implement processes for incident response and problem resolution, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Analyze current and future IT systems and infrastructure capacity needs and plan for scalability for business growth.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's IT assets, including data, networks, and systems, from cybersecurity threats.
- Support, configure, and upgrade desktops, peripherals, drivers, and desktop applications.
- Provide inventory management for computer systems hardware, software, and end-to-end network connectivity.
- Communicate IT project status to the Senior Manager, IT Operations.
- Participate in developing the organization’s policies, plans, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with IT and cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving more complex and escalated technical issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
TEAM LEAD, INFRASTRUCTURE AND CYBERSECURITY – Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a technical support role or engineering role is a must.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues logically and methodically.
- Competence in Business Productivity Software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software as needed and applicable.
