Blue Ridge specializes in legislative and regulatory advocacy, congressional investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters. Blue Ridge is looking for an early to mid-level professional at the Policy Analyst / Associate level depending on experience.
Position Description:
- Full-Time, In-Person
- Monitor legislative and regulatory policy developments.
- Research potential legislative and regulatory actions that may affect client interests.
- Cover congressional hearings, regulatory agency meetings, and third-party events, including preparing written summaries.
- Draft documents for internal and external use, including issue-specific research memos and weekly client update memos.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and dependable.
- Interest in and understanding of how to leverage technological resources to improve work product.
- Demonstrated background and interest in financial services regulation.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior experience on Capitol Hill, in the Executive Branch, or in the government affairs industry is a plus but not necessary.
