Gate Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our residents. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to interact with people in a positive manner, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

• To ensure that people who come to the Blue Ridge Mountain Club are authorized either as guests, contractors and and or visitors..
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order within the premises.
• Be a good ambassador for the Blue Ridge Mountain Club

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation is essential.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be physically fit to perform duties that may include standing for long periods and responding quickly in emergencies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends only
