Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist with maintaining the cleanliness and flow of the clinic. You will provide support for the clinic team to ensure every patient has the experience we strive to provide.
Responsibilities
Assist with the patient flow by routing new patients and completing their intake measurements (height, weight, blood pressure); routing returning patients; and maintaining communication with patients and their designated clinical team.
Assist clinical teams by helping with patient set-up for modalities (making hot or cold packs, plugging electrodes into an e-stim machine after they have been placed by the clinician, and helping remove modalities from a patient when complete.
Clean and Sanitize all patient care areas and waiting rooms. Treatment areas and equipment should be cleaned after each patient's use. Clean and reset treatment rooms after each patient use, including sanitizing the treatment table and high touch areas, replacing the pillow case, and ensuring that any dirty laundry has been removed and clean towels are available for the next patient visit.
Complete weekly deep cleaning (dusting, cleaning windows / glass doors, wiping down baseboards, laundering hot pack covers) and maintain cleaning log to ensure that all cleaning duties are consistently performed on the appropriate schedule.
Ensure the availability of clean linens by washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry on a routine basis.
Quickly answer the phone in a friendly manner when the front desk staff is unavailable.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, with relevant college experience preferred.
Outgoing personality that will consistently put patients first and treat them in a friendly professional manner while attending to their needs with a sense of urgency.
Ability to maintain the privacy of patients both within the clinic and outside of work, following HIPAA guidelines.
