THE ROLE
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for patient care and the direction of the treatment team for all cases assigned. The NP oversees daily rounding, daily treatment team, and will provide consultation as needed. The Nurse Practitioner actively participates as a leader within the organization and engages in committee meetings to provide medical guidance.

To qualify for the Nurse Practitioner position, you must have :
Certification as FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner)Previous experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting desirable.Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgroundsCommunication with organization or comparable entities preferredValid driver’s licenseMust provide proof of insurance (as needed), complete credentialing and background checks, supply references, participate in necessary documentation and billing software audits and needed based on position type.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As Nurse Practitioner, you will :
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory agencies.Ensure timely rounds for all admissions, discharges, and complex patients with timely and accurate documentation to demonstrate the reason and outcome of session.Provide individualized care for all patients based on individual symptoms, needs and evaluation and in accordance with the agreed upon treatmentplan.Attend and at times lead MEC, P&T, Quality, and UR committees within the facilities.Attend treatment team at minimum 3 times a week, but could be daily as needed based on program and patient load needs.Complete billing for services and time spent on patient care daily. Bill facility and or clocks in and out daily to demonstrate time spent on other duties outside of patient care.Collaborate with other medical staff on maintaining a high level of service and quality medical care.May provide regular oversight to allied health professionals within the organization.Provide on call coverage as needed and agreed upon and may assist with the development and approval of the medical coverage calendars withinthe facility.Express ideas effectively in individual, public, and group situations and work collaboratively to find solutions to problems.Role model competence, enthusiasm, and commitment to quality that is desired from all hospital staff.Respond (within 15-30 mins) to the nursing team and the admissions team(s) when calling for orders and / or medical consultation.Train other Providers as neededComplete monthly to quarterly FPPE / OPPEs as assigned.Participate and engage as needed in regulatory survey activity, business development growth and program expansion.Communicate in person, via Telehealth, and telephone on services provided as necessary.Participate as needed in probate, guardianship, forced medication, and other legal hearings as needed for patient care purposes, as well as provide second opinions as needed or requested by providers, courts, or patients.Qualified candidates, please apply now for a chance to join our outstanding team as we Inspire Hope, Restore Peace of Mind, and Heal Lives .
