Position:
The Registered Nurse provides routine nursing and personal care for patients. The ideal candidate collaborates daily with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrist, nurses, social workers, mental health technicians and recreational therapist to carry out patient treatment plans.
Essential functions:
- Completes daily nursing assessment on all patients
- Maintains compliance with required documentation
- Medication administration
- Facilitates group education
- Milieu Management
- Completes admission assessment on all new patients
- Provides clinical updates to patient family members
- Crisis intervention
- Communicates with provides regarding patient status
Skills:
- Strong verbal de-escalation skills
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
License/ Education:
- RN License in the State of Ohio
- Ideal candidate has a background in behavioral health
Shift:
- 7:00AM-7:00PM ( Day Shift)
- 7:00PM-7:00AM ( Evening Shift)
