Job Description
Hadlock Veterinary Clinic is in Port Hadlock, Washington, a small town on the Olympic Peninsula. We are at the foot of the Olympic Mountains and on the Puget Sound with every activity an outdoor enthusiast could want! Our clinic is looking for someone who is ready to take on an established client base in a full-time capacity. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply!
Our clinic is a state-of-the-art small animal practice with an emphasis on Fear Free techniques & we are in process of another expansion. We offer digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, in-house lab, and therapeutic laser services. Our facility also houses separate dental and surgical suites with paperless recordkeeping.
We are searching for a motivated and compassionate veterinarian to care for our community’s patients and awesome clients! With an experienced group of senior DVM’s, we can provide mentorship and guidance. We are also proud of our collegial approach and greatly value the opportunity to collaborate on cases.
Our hospital operates 7:30am – 6pm Monday through Friday. A typical work week consists of four, 10-hour days with the opportunity for flexible scheduling.
In addition to extensive outdoor activities including hiking, camping, mountain climbing, kayaking, and whale watching, Port Hadlock and the surrounding areas offer a variety of cultural activities. Be sure to check out the public theatre, local film festivals, and monthly Art Walk! For a quick getaway, a short ferry ride will take you to downtown Seattle to enjoy big city amenities.
Requirements
Must be licensed as a DVM in the state of Washington or ability to obtain.
