Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high-quality standards in our projects.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, track hoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks for various construction tasks.
• Perform digging and excavation work as required for site preparation.
• Safely operate farm machinery to support construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the job site.
• Manage the operation of roll-off trucks for material transport as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding project progress and any equipment issues.

Experience

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery, particularly in construction environments.
• Familiarity with backhoe operation, bulldoze techniques, and track hoe operation is preferred.
• Experience with commercial driving and transporting materials using dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to equipment operation on construction sites.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.81 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
