Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose), is seeking a dedicated professional to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families. This is an onsite role near/on Grand Forks AFB, ND, and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
Service members and their families face immense challenges—deployments, transitions, and the demands of military life. As an Adult Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC), you will provide critical support, offering confidential counseling and guidance to help them navigate stress, relationships, and personal growth.
In this role, you will:
- Provide face-to-face, non-medical counseling services to active-duty service members, their spouses, and family members.
- Support clients dealing with stress, relationships, occupational concerns, and other life transitions.
- Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling in various settings, including military installations, command settings, and community locations.
- Deliver presentations, workshops, and training on topics related to stress management, coping strategies, and military life challenges.
- Collaborate with military leadership, base support services, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for service members and their families.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA).
- A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted.
- Acceptable licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC.
- LADC and LMSW licenses are NOT eligible. Clinicians under supervision may NOT apply.
- Strong understanding of military culture and the unique stressors service members and families face.
- Ability to work independently and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
- Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, which may include additional installation-specific requirements.
Desired Experience:
- Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture.
- Experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, or military families.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
