Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose), is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families. This is an onsite role at Minot AFB, ND, open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
Military life comes with unique challenges, especially for children. Frequent relocations, deployments, and uncertainty can take an emotional toll. As a Child and Youth Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, you will be a vital source of support, helping military kids and teens develop resilience, confidence, and coping skills.
In This Role, You Will:
- Provide counseling services in a youth center setting for children of military service members.
- Deliver face-to-face counseling, training, and health & wellness presentations.
- Consult with parents, youth center & school personnel, and installation command staff on behavioral issues affecting children and youth.
- Support youth programs, summer camps, and other on-demand assignments as needed.
- Collaborate closely with military branch Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure program implementation aligns with contract requirements and meets the needs of the assigned installation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA).
- A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted.
- Acceptable licenses: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC.
- NOT eligible: LADC and LMSW licenses. Clinicians under supervision may NOT apply.
- Understanding of military lifestyles and experience working with military family members.
- Ability to work independently to develop, implement, and evaluate safety and intervention plans to meet individual and family needs.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
- Must be able to pass all background/suitability checks, which may include additional installation-specific requirements.
Desired Experience:
- Previous military service or strong familiarity with military culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
