Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst to support our work with a federal client. This is a Hybrid role in Arlington, VA and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
Candidates must have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance or higher.
In this role you will:
- Leverage ServiceNow for data integration, reporting, and workflow automation to streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Design and implement advanced data visualization solutions to communicate complex datasets effectively
- Develop dashboards and tools to support data-driven decision-making processes, including integrations with platforms like ServiceNow as needed
- Utilize data engineering skills to structure and prepare datasets for analysis and visualization
- Collaborate with Agile project teams to prioritize and refine project requirements
- Support backlog management processes and work with stakeholders to define key objectives
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance best practices while developing solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should be well-versed in data visualization techniques, beginner-level data engineering, and intermediate-level Agile backlog management.
Candidates must have:
- 7-10 years of experience in creating and delivering advanced data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with foundational data engineering skills, including SQL, ETL processes, and Python
- 3-5 years of experience using Agile methodologies, including backlog management tools like JIRA
- An active Secret Clearance or higher
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or similar
- Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience in working across cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently in remote/hybrid environments
