Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC). This is a Full-Time role at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities :
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide behavioral health services to military service members and their families .
MFLC counselors provide face-to-face counseling services to military service members and their families. Counseling is supportive in nature and addresses : living conditions, life skills, improving relationships at home and at work, stress management, adjustment issues (such as those related to returning from deployment), marital problems, parenting, fear, grief and loss.
Counselors also assist with health and wellness presentations and training in consultation with the installation command staff regarding behavioral issues.
Minimum Requirements :
- Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health profession (e.g., MS, MSW, MA)
- A valid, unrestricted counseling license, preferably in the state of work; however, licenses from other states may be accepted as well
- Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, and LMHC;
LADC and LMSW license types are not eligible, and clinicians under supervision may not apply
