Quality Analyst (NYC)

Blue Rose Consulting Group is hiring a Quality Analyst to support our client’s CurRent NYC initiative. The project aims to enhance services provided by the Human Resources Administration (HRA) to landlords through better application management, digital payments, and record accuracy. The application in production supports landlord engagement, online account creation, CityFHEPS processing, and rent payment submission. Enhancements to this platform will support seamless user experience and data integrity across tenants and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate, plan, and implement testing strategies

• Develop test scripts and scenarios for all key functionalities of the landlord portal

• Conduct System Integration Testing with other DSS systems

• Perform end-to-end functional testing based on business rules and workflow expectations

• Conduct performance testing to identify any system design pitfalls and optimize response time and reliability

• Create and execute test cases, log and assign defects, and maintain defect tracking documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 years of experience in QA methodologies and QA validations across the SDLC and STLC

• Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

• 4 years working with Selenium WebDriver using the TestNG Java framework

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Eclipse IDE, OOPS concepts

  • Experience building automation frameworks using Page Object Model

• 4 years of experience in testing middleware technologies such as SOAP and REST using SOAPUI

  • XML/XML Schema validation, CSS Selectors, Xpath for element detection

  • Cross-browser testing: IE, Firefox, Chrome

• 4 years hands-on experience with:

  • TestNG for automation reporting

  • Jenkins for CI/CD

  • GITLAB for version control

  • Performance testing tools like JMETER and LOADRUNNER

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required
