Blue Rose is seeking a Scrum Master to support our work with a federal client. This is a fully on-site role in Colorado Springs, CO, and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.
An ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance is required prior to starting work.
In this role you will :
- Support Agile team delivery in areas including quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Help team members maintain daily collaboration and focus on sprint priorities.
- Facilitate team ceremonies, including the Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demos, Retrospectives, and PI Planning Team Breakouts. Reinforce collaborative user story estimation and use of normalized story points.
- Experiment and implement change as part of the team's continuous improvement effort. Learn dev / test delivery processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency, communication, and planning.
- Work with other Scrum Masters and ART stakeholders on cross-team dependencies, including code deployment in lower environments. Represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums.
- Assist with preparation for ART events such as PI Planning and System Demo.
- Pro-actively communicate with management and ART stakeholders. Provide status of sprint progress and request awareness and / or support if sprint scope or dependencies are at risk. Help protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work and remove impediments.
- Embrace, coach, and implement SAFe core values, principles, and practices.
