Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our pediatric team in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to industry standards. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff.
Duties
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist dental staff by preparing instruments for procedures and ensuring they are readily available.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to support patient care and clinic operations.
