Business Analyst Expert

Job Description
Blue Sage Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support its customers in deploying the BSS platform efficiently and satisfactorily. The ideal candidate will possess mortgage lending experience and be able to translate business requirements into functional documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Serve on implementation projects, fulfilling client-driven tasks required for software solution execution and delivery.
• Gather and translate business requirements from external clients and internal departments.
• Create and maintain functional, configurable, User Interface (UI), and technical documentation or specifications.
• Apply software development lifecycle methods of problem-solving and solutioning.
• Identify impact areas of risks, constraints, and gaps for in- and out-of-scope functionality and workflows.
• Operate within organizational project software delivery release schedules.
• Support system configuration and database management.
• Analyze, design, and document viable product software solutions.
• Facilitate client functional demonstrations and learning development.
• Support and partner with other internal project roles to build and manage vendor-client relationships.
• Organize and manage time-sensitive tasks or deliverables needed to support Development and Quality Assurance teams.

Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, and Education:

• 2 years Mortgage Lending experience preferred.
• 3 years business or technical analyst experience within the mortgage software industry.
• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills used to translate incoming requirements and administer clear, defined instruction.
• Must be able to apply critical thinking tactics needed for researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues satisfactorily.
• Experience working in Agile or Agile-paired software development methodologies or environments.
• Exposure to database management and/or use of SQL language.
• Experience with software product design and architecture.
• Experienced with facilitating small or large audience presentations and information transfer.
• Must function well under pressure and be capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
• Must be an adaptable team player who will interact and work amicably within multiple teams and projects.
• Possess strong self-management skills exercising both successful time management and workload prioritization effectively.
