The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing support to Blue Sage Solutions' customers by gathering and translating business requirements into functional documentation. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication skills to ensure clear and defined instructions are administered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and translate business requirements from external clients and internal departments.
- Create and maintain functional, configurable, User Interface (UI), and technical documentation or specifications.
- Apply software development lifecycle methods of problem-solving and solutioning.
- Identify impact areas of risks, constraints, and gaps for in- and out-of-scope functionality and workflows.
- Support system configuration and database management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2 years Mortgage Lending experience preferred.
- 3 years business or technical analyst experience within the mortgage software industry.
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to apply critical thinking tactics needed for researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues satisfactorily.
