Your Role
The Pharmacy Prior Authorization team provides efficient and accurate responses to external customers (physicians, office staff, pharmacy providers, members and brokers) and internal team members for all outpatient pharmacy benefit inquires. The Pharmacy Technician, Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Pharmacy Services. In this role you will educate others on the Blue Shield product, providing accurate information and updates to policies and procedures, improving overall customer satisfaction in the process
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a State Board Certification for Pharmacy Technician.
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of pharmacy related experience.
- Process mapping experience preferred.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities including communication, coaching, and providing feedback on tasks.
- Call center performance management experience preferred.
The pay range for this role is : $ 26.37 to $ 36.92 for California.
