Your Role
The Pharmacy Operations team oversees the build, implementation and maintenance of pharmacy benefits and pharmacy networks in a multi-vendor collaborative partnership. The Business Analyst, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Benefit Implementation. In this role you will support and be a subject matter expert in Pharmacy Network setup and maintenance.
Your Work
In this role, you will :
- Provide highly complex analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations
- Lead the development of annual operating plans, capital budgets and forecasts, and build business cases for new business initiatives (cost / benefit analysis)
- Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with highly complex analysis and data for management review, and presents to various levels of management
- Define business requirements and provide analysis to increase operational efficiency
- Provide analytical support for multiple, highly complex cross-functional projects simultaneously, establish work plans and timelines, coordinates with internal and external resources
- Compare and validate pharmacy network roster files (network composition) to pharmacy directories (network composition), Medicare Plan Finder PC / PF files, changes to networks based on pharmacy contract additions and terminations
- Oversee the Network Operations Playbook
- Negotiate appropriate changes with vendors for new network products created for Blue Shield or other health plan customers, network law changes or contract terms change
- Support resolution and closure of existing and future pharmacy network related incidents, inquiries and tasks assigned through the Pharmacy Networks mailbox, network setup as needed for new clients, negative network management and BIN / PCN usage

Pay Range :
The pay range for this role is : $ 100320.00 to $ 150590.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
