Your Role
The Health Data Transformation & Evaluation team drives implementation of the Digital Health Record (DHR). As the business driver, the team leads the integration of various data sources into a longitudinal patient record. The Data Analyst-Health, Principal, will report to Sr. Manager, Health Data Strategy. In this role you will oversee, as a Business Product Owner, the design, development, testing, and deployment of the Digital Health Record, ensuring that it meets Blue Shield's data-driven objectives. In addition, this role will lead efforts to validate accuracy and integrity of data received from DHR sources and its adoption within the operational workflows by end-users.
Your Work
In this role, you will :
- Liaise with cross functional teams of data architects, modelers and data quality analysts, who are responsible for building the Digital Health Record within the enterprise data warehouse
- Define and implement the data integration strategy, architecture, standards, and best practices for the Digital Health Record, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision, mission, and goals
- Establish and monitor the data quality and governance processes and perform user acceptance testing for the Digital Health Record, ensuring that the data is accurate, complete, consistent, and trustworthy
- Collaborate with stakeholders and business users across the enterprise to understand their data needs and expectations, and to deliver solutions that enable data-driven decision making and insights
- Lead design, analysis, and interpretation of various data sources to meet health data strategy goals including but not limited to creation of Digital Health Record
- Serve as a partner to the Director, Health Data Strategy and Evaluation team to ensure all Digital Health Record and Program evaluation data needs are met

Pay Range :
The pay range for this role is : $136,400.00 to $204,600.00 for California.

Please note that this range represents the pay range for this and many other positions at Blue Shield that fall into this pay grade. Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
