We are seeking a Pharmacist, Principal to join our team at Blue Shield of California. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our pharmacy product strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor prescription drug, medical claims, and program data to identify opportunities to improve quality and cost of healthcare
- Develop project proposals for identified opportunities and support implementation
- Lead and/or actively participate in cross functional processes to brainstorm, influence and recommend pharmacy strategies and initiatives
- Provide thought leadership and pharmacy marketplace intelligence to influence product and cost of health care strategy development and prioritization
