Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, providing excellent customer service, and utilizing various tools and technologies to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory.
- Diagnose issues with machinery using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
- Use an ohmmeter and other tools for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns or requests from staff or clients promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
- Experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects is advantageous but not required.
