The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in appellate advocacy, exceptional legal writing and research skills, and a strong commitment to representing plaintiffs’ interests.

Focus:
- Handle all aspects of appellate cases, including legal research, brief writing, and oral arguments.
- Provide legal trial support to attorneys during active trials.
- Collaborate with trial attorneys to review motions and filings, including summary judgment and post-judgment matters.
- Conduct in-depth legal analysis and strategic case development for appeals.
- Draft persuasive legal briefs, memoranda, and other filings in appellate proceedings.
- Present oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts.
- Stay current on changes in appellate law and provide guidance to junior attorneys and staff.
Skill Set:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
- Must hold an active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- At least 5 years of experience in appellate litigation, preferably representing plaintiffs.
- Demonstrated prowess in legal research, writing, and analysis.
- Proven track record of oral advocacy and successful appellate arguments.
- Ability to independently manage a significant caseload and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of legal practice.
- Strong teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and providing mentorship to junior legal staff.
