Focus:
- Build, maintain, and optimize data infrastructure systems such as data orchestration, distributed storage, and streaming infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
- Provide end-user support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, and installation, both in-person and remotely.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, uptime, and data security through routine maintenance and proactive monitoring.
- Document and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and external IT service providers to meet specific technical requirements and ensure successful execution of IT projects.
- Assist with the integration of data pipelines, automation, and API workflows to streamline operations and ensure seamless data movement across systems.
Skill Set:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and data management systems.
- Proven experience working in data infrastructure or related fields, with a focus on building and managing scalable and reliable systems.
- Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation and system management.
- Solid understanding of SQL database management, including creating and optimizing queries, and integrating databases.
- Exposure to data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and systems integration techniques (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile software development practices.
- Knowledge of networking hardware and software (e.g., switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN) is preferred.
