About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Director to lead our commercial electrical projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
Skill Set
- At least 5-7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the field of commercial electrical projects.
- Strong familiarity with project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
