Focus:
- Represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters including disputes, negotiations, and litigation.
- Provide strategic legal advice related to employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review legal documents and ensure compliance with local and federal employment standards.
- Engage in extensive case preparation for court proceedings, including managing discovery processes and drafting motions.
- Collaborate with other attorneys to enhance client service and firm expertise.
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
Skill Set:
- JD from an accredited law school.
- At least two years of hands-on experience navigating workplace disputes and employment-related lawsuits.
- Active membership in the California Bar Association is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
- Availability to travel as needed for client representation and case management.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
