The company is rapidly growing and looking for a highly motivated sales professional to drive growth and manage key relationships within the Midwest U.S.
About the Role:
The Strategic Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding market share and revenue within the Midwest region, primarily targeting OEMs in the Aerospace, Defense, Transportation, Energy, and Medical industries. The role requires an individual who is entrepreneurial, results-driven, and skilled in relationship-building. The candidate will manage Manufacturer’s Representatives, develop key customer relationships, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Execute a Regional Growth Strategy focused on sales expansion.
- Manage Manufacturer’s Representatives to ensure alignment with company sales objectives.
- Build & Maintain Relationships with key OEM clients.
- Negotiate Contracts & Pricing while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams including engineering and product teams.
- Conduct Market Analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Travel Frequently (approximately 3 days per week) for client meetings and industry events.
Key Qualifications:
- 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial products.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of sales success in a similar role.
- Experience with technical sales, engineered components, or OEMs is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Preference for candidates located near a major airport for ease of travel.
