Focus:
- Act as the primary point of contact with the customer to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure the successful execution of the program from planning through to product launch.
- Establish and maintain program controls, including processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms required to manage the program effectively.
- Lead the program’s progress, ensuring milestones are met across all phases of the project, and adjust timelines as needed to meet customer expectations.
- Oversee the program budget, identifying potential issues, and managing risks throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead program reviews and ensure timely communication of status updates, issues, and risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality control to ensure alignment and support for program goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment focused on problem-solving, proactive planning, and risk management.
- Apply process improvement techniques to ensure continued efficiency and quality in project delivery.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of program management experience, ideally in manufacturing or healthcare environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 or equivalent quality standards is preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams in complex program execution.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation in a program management context.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong experience with earned value management and program performance metrics.
