What You ll Do:
- Design, build, and test electrical circuits and PCB prototypes for AI-driven industrial applications.
- Establish and manage a state-of-the-art electrical engineering lab, sourcing and maintaining advanced testing equipment.
- Develop automated testing scripts and integrate them into existing AI-powered platforms using tools such as Python, LabView, and SCPI.
- Troubleshoot and optimize circuit board designs to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers and machine learning scientists to integrate AI capabilities into hardware testing.
- Lead experiments to analyze hardware performance under real-world conditions, including environmental stress testing and electromagnetic interference analysis.
- Travel domestically and internationally (~25%) to engage with clients and industry partners.
What You Bring:
- 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, specializing in circuit design, debugging, and testing.
- Proven ability to build and manage a test lab, including experience with oscilloscopes, DAQs, power sources, and digital communication interfaces.
- Strong background in EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys) and familiarity with SPICE, PDN, Verilog-AMS.
- Programming and scripting experience in Python, NI LabView, Matlab, or similar tools.
- Expertise in EMI/EMC troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Passion for emerging AI technologies and their applications in electrical engineering.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
