Child Care Center Director

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Center Director to lead our team in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and higher education teaching, along with experience working with students in a childcare setting. As the Child Care Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both staff and children.

Duties

• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
• Supervise and support teaching staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Manage daily operations of the center, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Establish policies and procedures that promote a safe and healthy environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to build strong relationships.
• Conduct regular assessments of programs and staff performance to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards.

Experience

• A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field or
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare or educational setting or 90 clock hours in a child care setting as a lead teacher.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with diverse audiences.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
