What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cocktail Server and Venue Host position at Blue Sky Bar and Patio?
*Overview*
Blue Sky is a fast, growing restaurant and event space that offers pickleball, bowling and private karaoke rooms. We are seeking cocktail waitresses and hosts to join our team. The ideal candidates must have experience in the service industry and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The host/cocktail waitress position will be primarily weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have availability to pick up additional shifts as needed.
*Duties*
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Check ID's to ensure the safety of customers within the bar.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Operate POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the karaoke rooms
*Skills*
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
