Job Description:
Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to support the General Manager (GM) in overseeing the daily operations of our hotel. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive guest experience while assisting with staff coordination and day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the GM in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Supervise and support staff to ensure they deliver exceptional service to guests.
- Ensure that all hotel areas are well-maintained and operations run smoothly.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the training, coaching, and development of hotel staff.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to the GM.
- Maintain inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including payroll, scheduling, and reporting.
- Support GM with planning and executing special events or promotions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hotel operations or a similar customer service role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficient with hotel management software (preferred but not required).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality-related certifications are a plus.
