Blue Sky Innovative Solutions is seeking two (2) qualified full-time Data Entry/Financial Analyst for a new opportunity to support our government customer.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Position Overview: The Data Clerk/Financial Analyst is responsible for reviewing and processing data from the county's personnel system to ensure accurate updates of employee accounts in the Pension Gold system. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of pension data and supporting the overall operations of the Pensions and Retirement Services Division.
Responsibilities: Record Review- Examine and verify records from the HRIS personnel system to ensure accurate and complete data for pension processing. Data Entry and Updates- Input and update pension account information in the Pension Gold system based on HRIS data, including employee contributions, retirement dates, and beneficiary changes. Data Verification-Conduct regular audits of data entries to confirm accuracy and compliance with county policies and pension regulations. File Processing- Process and manage pension-related files and records, ensuring all documentation is properly organized and maintained. Confidentiality- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive pension information in accordance with legal standards and organizational policies. Collaboration-Work closely with HR personnel and other divisions to resolve discrepancies in records and enhance data management practices.
Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Human Resources Management. Prior experience in data entry or pension administration is a plus. Any equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience will also be accepted.
Experience: Previous experience in data entry, records management, or a related administrative role, particularly in a pension or financial environment. (e.g., Excel, database systems). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical Skills- Proficiency in data entry software and systems, particularly experience with HRIS and Pension Gold or similar pension management systems. Attention to Detail-Strong focus on accuracy and detail to ensure data integrity and compliance. Communication Skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees and collaboration with team members. Problem-Solving Abilities-Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies efficiently and effectively.
