As a specialty pharmacy sales representative, you will be responsible for generating revenue in your geographical area. Responsibilities include prospecting for new customers, setting sales appointments through cold calling and presenting our services to potential clients. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is typically required, along with several years of experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Develop territory sales plan
Research and identify sales targets
Educate healthcare providers on the benefits and features of the specialty pharmacy's products and services
Thrive in an extremely fast-paced work environment
Possess the grit and determination to persevere through rejection
Deal with customer objections and turn them into a sale
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and account management to develop sales strategies and tactics
Create relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers
Meet or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets set by the specialty pharmacy
Manage territory T&E and customer related expenses
