What are the responsibilities and job description for the Budtender position at Blue Sky?
Blue Sky is a locally owned & vertically integrated business focused on providing clean cannabis extracts and products for the state of Maine. Since opening in 2018, we have expanded from our lab to two stores, one medical and one recreational; as well as a large recreational grow. Our recreational store opened the summer of 2022 and has been quickly picking up steam each week to the point where we now need more hands!
We are seeking a dedicated, detail oriented, energetic team player who will represent Blue Sky at our recreational store front in Farmington. You will be responsible for checking in, budtending, fulfilling orders and overall providing a positive experience for our customers.
Hourly starts at $16/ hour (higher based on experience) tips - growth potential
Medical Insurance Benefits start after 90 day probation period
Responsibilities:
- Understanding all of the exclusive products Blue Sky has to offer
- Up to date understanding of all products in the store front
- Customer service and education
- Guiding customers to the correct products
- Fulfilling orders & Inventory Management
- Working collaboratively with fellow team members to keep the store running smoothly
- Relay feedback
- Keeping store tidy
Requirements:
- 21
- Attention to detail
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Ability to successfully and accurately complete transactions
- Reliable transportation
- All Adult Use employees must subject to a government background check to attain an IIC card
Prefered:
- Valid IIC Card
- Experience in cannabis
- Computer savvy - Leaflogix, hardware, printers etc.
- Prior experience in cannabis industry and working with METRC
