Company Description

We are a proud member of the Ship Repair Industry, located in the Hampton Roads area. We provide Ship Repair and Fabrication Services to government and private vessels. Our company is committed to delivering high-quality services and exceeding customer expectations in the ship repair industry.

Required Qualifications :

  • Knowledgeable of VSRA Hot Work Permit and Protocols.
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA  Hot Work Rules in subpart P.
  • Fire Watch Certified or past certification requires (VSRA Fire Watch Card even if expired)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Police, monitor, correct and be responsible
  • Ensure that hot work operators follow procedures
  • Maintain work area clean
  • Lead 2-4 firewatchers to common goal
  • Follow directions of the Hot Work Supervisor

    • Security Requirements :

  • Must be able to access Government facilities and be DBIDS eligible
  • Position requires US Citizenship
  • Able to access all Local Shipyards

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Cannot be claustrophobic or have fear of height
  • able to climb straight ladders, access confines spaces, walk vessel ramps, climb multiple stairs
  • Hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection to be worn constantly
  • Respirator use may be required, NO facial hair where the seal of the mask touches your face
  • Clean drug test will be required
  • steel-toed shoes required to be worn entire shift
