Location: Preference given to candidates in Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Virginia
Remote: Yes, but with some travel to Merrillville, IN
Period: 02/03/2025 – 08/31/2025 (strong likelihood of extension through September 2025)
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $85-$90/hour
Contract Type: W-2 only, no visa sponsorships or subcontracting
Scope of Services:
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the successful adoption and implementation of organizational change initiatives for an SAP implementation within a Work and Asset Management program. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and implement change management strategies that align with business goals and optimize the transformation process. The OCM Analyst will assist in developing communication strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, training initiatives, and change impact assessments to ensure employees are adequately prepared for the organizational changes introduced by the project.
Role, Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Change Impact Assessment: Conduct change impact assessments to determine the scope of changes to processes, technology, and people. Identify key stakeholders and their concerns, and recommend strategies for managing transitions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to ensure active participation and buy-in from leadership and employees. Facilitate communication and manage resistance to change.
- Communication Strategy Development: Work with project teams to develop clear and effective communication plans, creating messages that align with project goals and address concerns, fostering understanding of the changes and their benefits.
- Training Support and Delivery: Collaborate with the training team to develop and execute training programs that support the organizational change process. Ensure that training is targeted to different employee groups and aligns with the needs arising from the change initiative.
- Resistance Management: Identify sources of resistance to change and develop strategies to address and mitigate concerns. Monitor resistance throughout the project and recommend actions to facilitate smoother transitions.
- Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on the effectiveness of change management strategies. Use surveys, feedback, and key performance metrics to assess the success of initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Culture Alignment and Sustainability: Ensure cultural aspects of change are integrated into the project. Advocate for a sustainable change culture by reinforcing benefits and ensuring continued support after the project concludes.
Required Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in change management, ideally within large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- Proven experience applying change management methodologies, such as PROSCI, within complex business environments.
- Experience in conducting organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis, and developing strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
- Familiarity with SAP systems or other enterprise software is preferred.
- Experience in utilities or similar industries is a plus.

Education & Certifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
- PROSCI Change Management Certification (preferred).
- Other relevant change management certifications (e.g., ACMP, Certified Change Management Professional) are a plus.
- Additional certifications or experience in training, project management, or process improvement is beneficial.
