POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring maximum inventory efficiency by maintaining inventory accuracy, auditing instrument sets, maintaining on-hand inventory levels, and supporting local and non-local sales representatives with inventory related tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct instrument set audits to ensure set inventory accuracy of at least 99.98%.
- Fulfill inventory requests promptly and accurately.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Utilize the warehouse inventory system to accurately and efficiently track inventory levels.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Examine and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Order inventory when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Entry level understanding of basic warehouse functions required.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
- General ERP software competency required.
- High level of attention to detail required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- Basic computer skills required.
