Rental Counter Inside Sales Representative
Overview:
Blue Tank and Pump is a specialized equipment rental company that supplies Frac Tanks, Roll Off Boxes, Diesel Pumps, Generators, Shoring and Water Treatment solutions. We are up to 8 Branches, 4000 pieces of rental equipment spread out among our branches and are headquartered out of Nicholasville KY. Our equipment helps support a variety of businesses including construction, environmental, private companies and everything in between. We are an ever growing company, having added several new branches in the last couple years.
Join our team as a Counter Sales Representative at our Monroe location where you will play a pivotal role in keeping our customers and outside sales team moving. In this role, you will work with walk-in customers, and our outside sales team with quotes, contracts, and billing. As a key member of our team, you will engage with customers, promote our products, and contribute to the growth of our business. As well as working with both the branch and operations managers to make sure that all of our customers are taken care of.
Duties:
1. Ensure all equipment and sales items go out on a contract.
2. Work with project managers and billing on contracts.
3. Be available to project managers for inside sales support.
4. Work with other branches on transfers of equipment.
5. Perform inventory checks on heavy assets monthly to turn in to the equipment manager.
6. Maintain inventory of all warehouse items for parts, fittings, and equipment.
7. Maintain and keep up with the rental counter.
8. Create non-technical proposals for project managers.
9. Work the rental counter to make sure everything is sent out on contracts and everything gets checked in.
10. Use the purchase order module in POR and make sure POR is correct and accurate.
11. Reorder stock to keep the shelves stocked as needed.
12. Receive and inventory parts and fittings.
13. Fill orders to other branches and ship as needed.
14. Assess equipment maintenance needs to be completed based on inventory.
15. Prioritize equipment repairs as needed.
16. Update services in Samsara
17. Use the Mob/Demob spreadsheet for quotes.
18. Manage walk-in Customer Sales.
19. Manage that work orders are being entered for all equipment in POR.
20. Help the team as needed in duties outside of our own from time to time.
21. Train new employees as needed.
23. Deliver Equipment as needed.
24. Attend manufacturing training for pumps, shoring, and generators.
25. Be able to operate a forklift.
Requirements:
- Drivers license
- Excellent communication skills to effectively market products and engage with customers.
- Proficiency in warm calling techniques to generate sales leads.
- Proficiency in computers is a must.
- Ability to thrive in an inside sales environment and contribute to team goals.
