Job Description
As a Full-Time Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in the clinical care of patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist chairside, ensuring proper notation in patient electronic records, taking radiographs, intraoral and facial photographs, and demonstrating excellent communication skills. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and staying focused and attentive throughout your shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess 1 to 3 years of experience or have attended dental assistant school. You must hold a current Extended Functions Dental Assistant License and be BLS/CPR certified. Experience with practice management software, such as Open Dental, is highly desirable. Additionally, you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
